Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated that the consecration ceremony will represent the emotions of millions of believers.

Following his acceptance of an invitation from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to attend the historic consecration of the Ram Temple on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the announcement on Wednesday. The PM posted a picture of himself on X with representatives of the trust, which is in charge of the temple’s construction.

“Jai, Ram Siya! I have a lot of feelings today. The representatives of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust visited me at home recently. They extended an invitation to visit Ayodhya during the Shri Ram temple’s consecration. I’m incredibly fortunate. I am fortunate enough to be present for this momentous occasion throughout my lifetime,” he wrote on X.

The Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust’s general secretary, Champat Rai, reported that trust members had a meeting with Modi on Wednesday in Delhi. He stated that Nripendra Misra, the chairman of the committee building the Ram temple, was also present. We met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today together with representatives of the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust. He is welcome to visit on January 22 when we install the Lord Ram idol in the Garbhagriha. He has agreed to come on January 22 as per our request. “After the meeting, Rai tweeted on X confirming the confirmed date for ‘Pran Pratishtha’ on January 22. Devotees will be permitted entry into the temple following the consecration ritual, according to those with knowledge of the situation.

Speaking to RSS workers in Nagpur on Tuesday, president of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat announced that the consecration event is scheduled for January 22.

The much anticipated event of happiness, pride, and satisfaction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s consecration of Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya will represent the feelings of crores of followers of Lord Ram, Adityanath wrote in a post on ‘X.’

In 2019, the Ram temple in Ayodhya was made possible by the Supreme Court’s historic ruling in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was founded by the Center in February 2020 to supervise all choices pertaining to the temple’s development. On August 5, 2020, Modi placed the temple’s foundation stone.
