  • The Vande Bharat Express between Delhi and Dehradun has arrived, and here’s all you need to know about it.

India’s 18th and Uttarakhand’s first Vande Bharat Express now travels between Delhi and Dehradun. Today, May 25, 2023, saw the debut of the brand-new express train. Supposedly, the Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Roorkee, and Haridwar stops on the Delhi to Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will be included in the route from Delhi’s Anand Vihar terminal to Dehradun.

The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express, so the rumour goes, will begin running on May 29 and traverse the 302 kilometres between the two cities in under five hours (4 hours and 45 minutes). The express train will operate every day of the week except Wednesday. It would take the express train (train number 22457) from Anand Vihar Railway Station until 10:35 PM to get to Dehradun.

There were reports of a ticket of INR 1,065 for an AC Chair Car and INR 1,890 for an Executive Chair Car.

Currently, the train ride from Delhi to Dehradun might take anything from 5 hours and 50 minutes to 11 hours and 55 minutes. The new Delhi–Dehradun Vande Bharat Express promises to get you there in under five hours, which is fantastic news. This express train won’t just get you where you’re going quickly; it’ll do it in style.

The Indian Railways have recently made it little less of a hassle to get around Uttarakhand thanks to the introduction of an express train.
