PM Modi has set a target for Vande Bharat express trains in India.

PM Modi led the first Vande Bharat train between Puri and Howrah on Thursday. Later on Thursday, Vaishnaw travelled on the Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express and described the trip as being quite comfortable.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a goal for these trains to visit nearly all the states by next month, according to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who announced the start of the 17th Vande Bharat express yesterday. 

Vaishnaw stated to ANI in Howarh that PM Modi had set a goal for Vande Bharat to virtually completely cover all states by June.The Vande Metro is intended for everyday passenger transit over shorter distances (under 100 km).

The interaction with children and other passengers was the nicest part of the journey, according to the Union Minister.

The Vande Bharat Express, a representation of a contemporary and aspirational India, is being offered to the people of West Bengal and Odisha, the Prime Minister said while addressing the crowd.

“India’s speed and progress can be seen whenever a Vande Bharat Train runs from one place to another,” the Prime Minister remarked, noting that West Bengal and Odisha are now experiencing this pace. 

By the end of June 2023, India will introduce at least five new Vande Bharat semi-high-speed trains. Other trains, including as the New Jalpaiguri-Guwahati train and the Patna-Ranchi line, are anticipated to run after the Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat train. 

Trials in the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat case began yesterday and may start soon. The Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar Capital, Mumbai – Sainagar Shirdi, and Mumbai – Solapur Vande Bharat Express trains are the three Vande Bharat trains that are currently operating in Mumbai. After an assessment, the new train service will be inaugurated after the electrification of the Mumbai-Goa rail line was finished last month.

Trains operated by Vande Bharat are capable of travelling at a top speed of 180 km/h. These cutting-edge trains have bio-vacuum restrooms, automatic doors, wi-fi, and regenerative braking systems in addition to GPS-based passenger information systems.

Due to their quicker acceleration and deceleration, officials said that Vande Bharat trains’ average speed is superior to that of Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express trains.

The Indian Railways runs an electric multiple-unit train called the Vande Bharat Express. They were created at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai after being designed by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation.
