One of India’s major online travel technology platforms, EaseMyTrip.com, released its financial statistics for the three months and fiscal year ended March 31, 2023. Both in the fourth quarter of FY23 and for the entire FY23 fiscal year, the company posted strong performance. From INR 3,715.6 Crores in FY22 to INR 8,050.6 Crores in FY23, the Gross Booking Revenue increased by an amazing 116.7%. This broad-based rise was a result of the company’s painstaking efforts to increase their brand visibility and reach, and it was supported by a recovery in all of the company’s segments. Gross Booking Revenue for Q4FY23 increased by 83.0% YoY to INR 2,142.8 crores from INR 1,170.7 crores in Q4FY22.
As a result, the Adjusted Revenue increased significantly in FY23, rising by 68.6% YoY to INR 674.9 Crores from INR 400.4 Crores in FY22. A strong gain of 81.0% YoY was also seen in the Adjusted Revenue for Q4FY23, which increased from INR 98.4 Crores in FY22 to INR 178.1 Crores in FY23. EBITDA for FY23 was INR 191.3 Crores, an increase of 30.2% YoY above INR 146.9 Crores for FY22.
With higher operating performance throughout the year, profit after tax (PAT) for FY23 was INR 134.1 Crores, up 26.6% YoY from INR 105.9 Crores in FY22. PAT increased by 33.1% in the fourth quarter of FY23, from INR 23.3 crores to INR 31.1 crores.
