DGCA Examining Go First’s Special Audit Report.

An official stated that the Go First airline’s special audit report is being examined by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

DGCA teams completed the three-day special audit on July 6, according to a senior DGCA official, who also confirmed that the teams had turned in their report.
“We are currently studying the report that the teams in Mumbai and Delhi put together. A decision on the airline would be made further after the analysis, the official said.

The special audit, according to earlier statements from the DGCA, would focus on safety-related issues as well as a physical inspection of the preparations made for the restart of aircraft operations.

On June 29, the DGCA said that it has decided to undertake a special examination of the Go First facilities in Mumbai and Delhi after reviewing the restart plan that the Resolution Professional (RP) for Go First had submitted on June 28.

The official stated that the focus of the special audit, which will take place from July 4 to July 6, 2023, “shall be on the safety related aspects and continued compliance of the requirements to hold an Air Operator Certificate, as well as on physical verification of the arrangements made for resumption of flight operations.”

Go First plans to resume flights as soon as possible using its fleet of 22 aircraft.
