Today, the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) delegation convened. The recently appointed Director General of Police of the A&N Islands, Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, will speak about the problems affecting the travel and tourism sector. Leading the meeting at the DGP’s office were notable AATO members K. Hamza, Vivek Singh, Selvaraj, and Saikat Biswas in addition to Shri. M. Vinod.

Devesh Chandra Srivastva received the delegation’s sincere greetings on his recent appointment as the DGP of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They commended him on his extensive expertise and sterling work as a police officer and expressed their faith in his ability to further improve the security and law and order on the A&N Islands.

In order to establish a safe and welcoming environment for travellers, Vinod, President of AATO, emphasised the significance of tight cooperation between the tourism industry and law enforcement organisations. In addition to thanking the AATO delegation for their insightful comments and recommendations, DGP Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS welcomed them and emphasised the importance of working together to overcome the difficulties facing the sector.

The AATO delegation also praised the Andaman and Nicobar Police for their work in safeguarding the security and safety of visitors to the islands. They expressed their gratitude for the police department’s efforts to uphold the law, deter crime, and provide a safe haven for visitors. The delegation acknowledged the vital role played by the police in protecting tourists’ interests and safety, which greatly aids in the expansion of the tourism industry.
