Beginning today, there will be traffic restrictions for the MotoGP.

In addition to being fully prohibited on the route, buses, cars, e-rickshaws, and heavy vehicles, the traffic police may also impose restrictions on the movement of non-commercial vehicles based on traffic volume and VIP mobility.
The first 25 km of the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and 10 km of the Yamuna Expressway from Zero Point to Buddh International Circuit are subject to traffic restrictions, which will go into effect at 2 pm on September 21 (Thursday) and last until the conclusion of the two major events, MotoGP Bharat and Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), which are scheduled to take place in Greater Noida this week.

In addition to being fully prohibited from using the route, buses, cars, e-rickshaws, and heavy vehicles, the traffic police may also impose restrictions on the movement of non-commercial vehicles based on traffic volume and VIP mobility.

President Droupadi Murmu will travel by land to the India Expo Mart, a location for an international trade fair, for the opening ceremony on Thursday in the late afternoon, according to Anil Kumar Yadav, deputy commissioner of police (traffic).

On Thursday, he said, “We will enforce traffic restrictions starting at 2pm.”

The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway connects trade show attendees from Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram to the location. “We have set up parking for these tourists at the NASA base in Knowledge Park. This parking space has room for almost 13,000 automobiles. Ashutosh Singh, a traffic inspector from Noida, reported that more parking had been created on the GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management’s campus.
To bypass this route and take one of Noida’s internal routes instead, the traffic police urge commuters to travel to Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Agra, and Lucknow.

The MotoGP will be hosted at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) from September 22 to 24, while the international trade fair will run from September 21 to 25 at India Expo Centre & Mart in Knowledge Park.

People from Noida and Delhi can get to BIC by taking the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, exiting at loop 2A, and loop 2C, and entering the program venue through zones north, south, east, and west. For around 22,000 vehicles, the organizers have built parking facilities at each zone.

Commuters from Agra and Mathura can approach the race track location and park their cars by exiting at the Chapargadh loop. The traffic police will monitor the flow of traffic on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway because thousands of people are anticipated to attend the show. All passengers might not be permitted to use the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway when leaving the concerts in the evening since it might become congested.

To distribute the traffic pressure, the traffic police would divert some traffic to the LG roundabout, Surajpur, and Pari Chowk.

The Metro services should be used to avoid traffic, according to traffic police. For the MotoGP event, they can also use shuttle services from Noida’s Botanical Garden and Sector 142 Metro stations.

NMRC makes direct communication possible.

From September 21 to September 25, guests can go directly to the location of the international trade expo thanks to Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC).

According to Nish Wadhwan, a spokesman for NMRC, “Visitors can now travel straight on NMRC’s Aqua Line to reach the exhibition area. The facility is closest to the Knowledge Park-2 Metro station on the Aqua Line.

Direct connectivity, increased train frequency, and more public parking spaces will all be offered by the NMRC.
