These locations are in high demand among people looking for a restorative break in the midst of nature due to their quiet landscapes, stunning views, and good weather.

Beach locations also had an increase of 112% from the previous year. Goa and Pondicherry were the most popular beach destinations, followed by Digha, Alibaug, and Kollam, demonstrating a rising trend among travellers to discover unusual locations during monsoon.

During the monsoon, interest in spiritual locations grew as well, with Varanasi, Puri, Tirupati, Amritsar, and Haridwar appearing as the top picks.

The prime travel season has historically been the summer, but the present pattern shows an intriguing shift in preferences.
