Today, Vistara, the best full-service airline in India and a joint venture between the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, launched its non-stop, five times weekly flights from Mumbai to London (Heathrow). Modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner planes were used for the first trip, which left Mumbai at 14:35 IST and was due to land at London Heathrow Airport at 19:55 BST. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner operated by Vistara is renowned for its distinguishing features, which include, among others, cozy three-class seating, contemporary interiors, wireless internet throughout the aircraft, a state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system with live TV at 35,000 feet, and wellness lighting options.

At the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Vistara held a formal lamp-lighting ceremony to mark the beginning of the new international route. On the debut trip, customers will be served themed fare such as regional favorite pav bhaji and keema pav, as well as London’s speciality beer, Brewdog Punk IPA, on the return journey.
