Soon, a train from Mumbai to Goa will take just 7 hours!

Your journey from Goa to Mumbai will soon only take seven hours! A Vande Bharat Express Train will be introduced on the route and will begin travelling between Goa and Mumbai in June, according to the most recent news reports.

The CSMT to Madgaon route for the semi-high-speed train will be operated. The Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express train’s route trials were completed successfully, and the train travelled between the cities in one direction in just over seven hours.
In reference to this, a top official further stated that their current plan is to travel from CSMT in the morning at approximately 6 AM in order to arrive in Madgaon in the afternoon. The next day, it will continue the return trip to CSMT, where it is anticipated to arrive about midnight.

The Tejas Express is the train currently operating on this route, and it travels the 765 kilometres between the two cities in just under 8 hours and 40 minutes.

If this train is put into service on this route, it will be the fourth Vande Bharat to leave Mumbai, India’s financial hub. Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar Capital, Mumbai – Sainagar Shirdi, and Mumbai – Solapur Vande Bharat Express trains are the three that are currently running.

Apart from their speed, the Vande Bharat Express trains stand out for their advanced safety features, which include a locally created train collision prevention system. Additionally, the trains have a sophisticated braking system that facilitates quicker acceleration and deceleration while also reducing travel time.

These high-speed trains include reclining seats in every class and can travel at a top speed of 160 kmph, according to records.
