The PMPML feeder bus service facility for Pune Metro users has garnered positive feedback.
Pune: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamanadal Limited (PMPML) feeder bus service facility has got positive feedback from Pune Metro users. Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad saw about 213,958 users of the service in September.
PMPML completed 26 trips each day in 10 buses at metro stations, generating revenue of about 27 lakh.
To help passengers get to their destination in the city, the PMPML administration began a feeder bus service from a number of Pune metro stations. According to PMPML’s information, the buses make four circles in Pimpri-Chinchwad and 22 rounds in Pune. Due to a lackluster passenger response, the route of Metro Shuttle No. 37, which travels from Pimpri Metro Station to Akurdi Railway Station, will be modified. The forthcoming Vanaz-Ruby Hall Clinic will also offer its services at the Ramwadi Metro Station.
Between Ramwadi Station and Ramwadi, a feeder service to the Pune Airport will begin.
The Pune Airport will have a bus running every 15 minutes, according to a top PMPML official who spoke on the record.
Kapil Jedhe, a commuter, welcomed the PMPML move and stated, “I frequently travel by the Pune Metro and utilize the feeder bus service from Garware College Metro Station to go towards Deccan Gymkhana side of the city. For many passengers, the connection between the metro and bus routes is advantageous.
