For the quarter ending June 30, 2023, the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) recorded a 7% year-over-year (YoY) reduction in net profit at INR 231 crore.

IRCTC reported a net profit of INR 248.5 crore for the same quarter in 2022, the firm said in a regulatory filing.

The revenue climbed 17.5% from the same period of the previous fiscal, when it was INR 852.6 crore, to INR 1,001.8 crore during the period under review.

Operating-level EBITDA climbed 6.9% to INR 343 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year compared to INR 321 crore in the same period last year.

In the reporting quarter, the EBITDA margin was 34.2% compared to 37.6% in the same quarter of the prior fiscal year.
