At Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, a Srinagar-bound IndiGo flight experienced a huge three-hour delay, which was extremely inconvenient for passengers.
CEO of Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport Rakesh Ranjan explained the reason for the delay as being operational.
Operational issues, according to airport CEO Rakesh Ranjan, are to blame for the delay. According to him, IndiGo aircraft 6E6489 had a 3.45 pm planned departure and a 4.55 pm scheduled arrival in Srinagar. But it didn’t leave the airport until after 7 o’clock.
The irate passengers were spotted enquiring about the delay from the crew. Some people shared their experience on social media. In a message to the passengers, the airline firm expressed sorrow for the delay caused by operational issues.
