As of October 12, IndiGo will begin operating daily flights between Jaisalmer and Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad.
By linking Jaisalmer to several of the nation’s commercial and industrial hubs, these new routes will considerably boost tourism, trade, and transportation, officials stated.
Head of Global Sales at IndiGo Vinay Malhotra stated, “We are really happy to add Jaisalmer to our large domestic network. Flights to/from Jaisalmer will build a connection with other regions of the country through significant economic and industrial capitals such as Delhi and Mumbai. Jaisalmer is also known as the “golden city,” recognized by its yellow sandstone architecture. By launching air service to Jaisalmer, we also hope to make it simple to reach surrounding locations and open up new chances and commercial activity. Rajasthan’s 113th overall and 81st domestic destination on the IndiGo network will be Jaisalmer.
