Ayodhya tourism facilitation center gets government approval

A 130 crore budget for the development of a tourism facilitation center in Ayodhya has been authorized by the state government. The building will have an office, an art and crafts center, a food court, an ampitheatre, parking spaces, dorms, and a shopping complex. Its goal is to increase foreign tourism in the temple town. For the forthcoming consecration of Ram Lalla, the government has allotted a budget of 146 crore for public infrastructure projects.

Ayodhya will soon have a cutting-edge center for tourism facilitation, according to the state administration. The project, which has a budget of 130 crore and will be built on 4.40 acres, intends to increase foreign tourists in the temple town.

The design-build-finance-operate-transfer paradigm will be used to manage the public-private partnership project.

The state government issued an e-tender for the project’s execution and shortlisted four companies. After the financial bids are opened, the ultimate decision will be made.

The tourism center will have an office, an art and crafts center, a food court, an ampitheatre, and parking spaces, according to the state tourism department.

Additionally, a shopping center and a dorm will be included.

The state administration has stated that the project will be implemented over the course of the following 1.5 months.

For the project, the government may demolish or move a few existing structures.

146 crore would be spent upgrading public facilities.

The state government’s Urban Development division called a meeting in Ayodhya on Friday to discuss setting up public amenities for Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony.
