Air India will begin direct flights between Delhi and Dhaka on September 15th.

In order to make travel between the capital cities of India and Bangladesh more convenient and comfortable, Air India announced nonstop flights between Delhi and Dhaka.

Starting on September 15, 2023, Air India will operate four weekly flights using its Airbus A320 fleet between the two cities.

Currently, Air India offers three weekly flights between Kolkata and Dhaka. Due to Bangladesh’s rapid economic growth and general development, there is an increased demand for international travel to and from Dhaka. The increased frequency will help meet this demand.

Air India’s flight AI237 will leave Delhi at 1755 and arrive in Dhaka at 2045, according to the press release. The outbound flight AI238 departs Dhaka at 2145 and lands in Delhi at 2350. Every time is local.

Bookings for the flights are now being accepted across all platforms, including through travel agencies (including online travel agencies), Air India’s website (www.airindia.com), and mobile apps.

Air India now flies to Dhaka four more times per week, providing convenient connections via Delhi to and/or from 14 Indian destinations as well as 14 locations in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, the Middle East, and the Far East.
