Mumbai residents participate in the Sunday Street Festival, which was established by the Mumbai Police to inspire residents to leave their houses and leisurely engage in healthy and recreational pursuits.
People engaged in leisure pursuits including yoga, skating, cycling, and other traditional games. This initiative is being made to encourage pollution-free commutes and offer some relief from automotive pollution.

On June 14, the Mumbai traffic police observed “No Honking Day”.

Unnecessary honking damages people’s health and contributes to noise pollution. As a result, the traffic police will mark “No Honking Day” on June 14, a spokesperson stated.

On Thursday, the Mumbai Traffic Police said that 2,116 drivers had been arrested for excessive honking in the city.
