There is a list. Has your city survived?
This week, U.S. News & World Report published its yearly ranking of the 150 “Best Places to Live in the U.S.”
“The ideal blend of big-city amenities complemented with a Midwestern, small-town feel,” the magazine said of Green Bay.
Along with being the home of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League, the city also “boasts a thriving entertainment and arts scene, revitalised downtown, and two college campuses, creating an energy that may appeal to young families as well as retirees.”
After ranking the 150 largest metropolitan areas in the US, Huntsville, Alabama came in second, behind only Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, Boulder, Colorado, and Sarasota, Florida.
