The train ride time for the Vande Bharat express between Secunderabad and Tirupati has been cut by 15 minutes thanks to the efforts of Indian Railways. In addition, the train will have an increased capacity thanks to the addition of eight additional coaches.
The trip time of India’s 13th Vande Bharat Express train has been shortened by 15 minutes in an effort to better serve passengers. The current schedule for the semi-high-speed train between Secunderabad and Tirupati reduces the travel time to 8 hours and 15 minutes.
Originally, the trip was expected to take 8 hours and 30 minutes on the train. The new schedule will go into effect on May 17th, 2023, a Wednesday. The Railway Ministry has also quadrupled the Vande Bharat Express’s capacity by adding eight more carriages.
Passengers have shown overwhelming support for the blue and white train. South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Arun Kumar Jain remarked that the improved passenger experience would result from the shorter travel times and the additional comfort amenities.
In response to escalating demand for seats on the Secunderabad–Tirupati–Secunderabad route, the number of coaches on the Vande Bharat Express train was increased from eight to sixteen.

Indian Railways previously switched from the Vande Bharat Express Train between Bilaspur and Nagpur to the Tejas Express. In addition, the Vande Bharat on this route had the lowest occupancy of any Vande Bharat Express. Because of this issue, the ministry has cut the number of coaches to eight.
