Amit Sharma, the secretary of the transport department, instructed the responsible to gather all the necessary information on newly purchased cars, obsolete vehicles that should be condemned, and information on operational and public utility vehicles in the UT of Ladakh.
Amit Sharma, the secretary for transportation, presided over a meeting of the Ladakh motor vehicle rationalization committee. It was determined that the committee would first collect data on all current cars being used in Ladakh before making a rationalization decision, Sharma added.
He gave the concerned person the go-ahead to gather all necessary information on recently purchased vehicles, outdated vehicles that should be condemned, and information on operational and public utility vehicles in the UT of Ladakh in a timely way. A thorough report on the ideal demand of motor vehicles in Ladakh and their sensible utilization would be written once the committee has received the necessary data, he added.
