At the Jakson Inns in Phaltan, Satara, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) conducted the most recent Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) programme. The workshop, which was attended by 36 hospitality workers, intended to improve participants’ knowledge and abilities in guaranteeing safe and wholesome food practises. The importance is highlighted in today’s climate of food safety and health consciousness by initiatives like the FoSTaC.

Vivekanand, a trainer, Shailesh Rajadhyaksha, a general manager of Jakson Gourmet, Ashish Ranjan, a general manager of Jakson Inn, Rakhi Bansali, an executive assistant to the managing director, and Bharti Vania, a senior sales manager, started the FoSTaC programme.

In a time when customers place a high priority on health and food safety, it is critical that our sector meets their standards. Additionally, Phaltan was a great choice to host the most recent programme because of its distinctive amenities and growing popularity as a tourist destination. We want to raise the bar for wholesome food practises in Satara by providing the required skills and information to the city’s hospitality industry workers. According to Pradeep Shetty, President of HRAWI, “We are incredibly happy of the achievement of this programme and our passion in this area remains strong.

In the FSSAI’s FoSTaC Training Programme, HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 2647 personnel. “HRAWI routinely offers training courses and wants members to be fully informed and educated about all the new innovations and practices in food safety, food handling, and hygiene. This is in the interest of hotels and restaurants. Sandeep Talaulicar, a member of the HRAWI Executive Committee, says, “FSSAI specifically structured the programme for this reason, and we are pleased that members actively registered their personnel in the training.
