In order to create two new hotels in the Chandigarh tri-city area, Crowne Plaza Chandigarh Zirakpur, which is in the premium sector, and Holiday Inn & Suites Chandigarh Zirakpur, which is in the basics collection, IHG® Hotels & Resorts and NK Sharma Hospitality Pvt Ltd have inked a management agreement. Both hotels are currently building and are expected to open in January 2027.
In addition to enhancing Holiday Inn Chandigarh Panchkula and Holiday Inn Chandigarh Zirakpur, the joint agreement would fortify IHG’s Punjabi services and expand the company’s inventory by over 350 properties. The new hotels will be arranged in a cluster in Zirakpur, next to National Highway 22, which is one of the busiest roads in India and would draw tourists from neighboring towns and cities.
With roughly 100,000 square feet of meeting space when they open, the Crowne Plaza Chandigarh Zirakpur and Holiday Inn & Suites Chandigarh Zirakpur will be situated among the expansive banqueting facilities, ready to accommodate the increasing demand for weddings, conferences, and events from Zirakpur, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and Dera Bassi.
