Passengers are urged to make travel arrangements in advance because some roads are restricted and some bus services may be canceled in Delhi owing to the Chehlum procession.
In anticipation of the Chehlum parade on Wednesday, certain highways and sections in the nation’s capital will be controlled, and some bus services may be discontinued, according to the Delhi Traffic Police. It has been suggested that passengers heading to New Delhi Railway Station leave early and allow extra time in case there are delays on particular routes.
According to the advise, commuters should avoid Connaught Place and instead access the Ajmeri Gate side via Tilak, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, or Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, depending on the direction of the procession.
To go to New Delhi Railway Station from West and South Delhi, travelers should take the following route: Punjabi Bagh Chowk – Ring Road Dhaula Kuan – Ring Road – Mool Chand Flyover — Mathura Road – W-Point – ITO – Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg.
For those coming from East and North Delhi, the best route to take to go to New Delhi Railway Station is Rohtak Road, Rani Jhansi Road, Boulevard Road, ISBT, Ring Road, Rajghat Chowk, and Jawaharlal Nehru Marg.
