As the summer celebration began in the area, Kodaikanal, the queen of mountains in Tamil Nadu, has seen a gradual rise in tourist traffic day by day.
The festival also includes a flower show that draws more visitors from diverse areas.
Due to rising temperatures in most southern states over the past several days, Kodaikanal has seen an upsurge in visitors from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.
One traveler to Kodaikanal, Prabhu, stated, “We came to Kodaikanal to enjoy summer vacation with family. We came to Kodaikanal to avoid the summer heat for at least two days because Madurai has a high temperature at this time of year. Here, the summer festival has just begun. We came here, and I’m glad we did.
In addition to visitors from Tamil Nadu, people from other nations also travel to Kodaikanal. As summer vacations have begun in Kerala, Kodaikanal is currently busy with visitors from nearby states like that state.
Gokila, another traveler, remarked, “We came since my kids wanted to go to Kodaikanal for their summer vacation. Another reason we came here is that Kodaikanal is not that distant from Madurai. With the kids here, we are blissfully enjoying the summer break.
