The majority of the construction on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway’s “missing link” project between Khopoli and Kusgaon is complete, according to Minister Dada Bhuse, and it will be finished by September 2024.
The “missing link” project for the Pune-Mumbai Expressway between Khopoli and Kusgaon was evaluated by Maharashtra Public Works Department Minister Dada Bhuse on Thursday. He stated that the majority of the work is finished and the project will be finished by September 2024.

The 13.3-kilometer missing link consists of two tunnels, measuring 1.67 and 8.92 kilometers in length, as well as a bridge that is 180 meters high, according to Bhuse. By September 2024, it will be completed to a 75 percent level of completion.

He said that the proposal uses top-notch safety precautions and features the widest tunnel in the world. Bhuse and authorities went to the site after the evaluation meeting.
