Situated adjacent to the recently revamped platform number one, the establishment known as ‘Royal Train Cuisine’ utilizes leftover ingredients to create its offerings and operates continuously, providing service around the clock.

According to the owners, the inauguration of the city’s second rail coach restaurant is scheduled to take place at Gomti Nagar train station starting from Friday. The inaugural ceremony for the first one took place at Charbagh station in recent times.

Situated adjacent to the recently revamped platform number one, ‘Royal Train Cuisine’ is a culinary establishment that utilizes leftover ingredients and operates continuously, around the clock.

The dining facility accommodates a total of 70 seats, but the area adjacent to the coach has been repurposed into a café, providing seating for around 100 individuals inside a 4000 square feet area. According to Ashish Tiwari, the catering head, the restaurant will operate continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, he mentioned that there will be a bonfire held during the upcoming winter season, accompanied by live musical performances on weekends.

This establishment represents the inaugural train carriage restaurant under the NER division. The completion of the remaining two projects in Gorakhpur and Sidhauli is anticipated in the near future. Additionally, Aditya Kumar, the divisional railway manager of the North Eastern Railway in Lucknow, informed us about the reception of a proposal about the Bakshi Ka Talab station.
