According to Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Vande Bharat trains would begin traveling across all 50 states by June.

The Railway Minister stated during a news conference in the nation’s capital that they aim to connect 200 cities with the Vande Bharat train by the middle of the next year and that production is moving quickly.
“Vande Bharat trains will begin covering all the states by June,” he declared. By the middle of the following year, we hope to connect 200 cities via Vande Bharat. Production work for the project’s implementation is moving quickly.

On Saturday, Goa’s inaugural Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off from the Madgaon train station by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi will participate in the ceremonial flag-raising via video conference.

Modern Vande Bharat Express will provide connections along the Mumbai-Goa line and give locals in the area faster, more comfortable transport options.

The vehicle will be the 19th Vande Bharat vehicle to travel through the nation.

On February 15, 2019, the inaugural Vande Bharat Express train on the New Delhi to Kanpur to Allahabad to Varanasi route was flagged off.

The Vande Bharat Express is capable of 160 kmph top speeds.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that 75 Vande Bharat trains will connect every section of the nation during the 75 weeks of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence in his address to the nation on August 15, 2021, from the Red Fort’s ramparts.

Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister, stated in the Union Budget 2022–2023 that 400 new-generation Vande Bharat trains will be produced during the following three years.
