Beginning on November 17, 2023, the Indian Railways will operate the Bharat Gaurav Train, which will travel from CSMT to Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Guntala, Rengunta, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kannanakumari, and Kochuveli before returning to CSMT on November 25, 2023.
The IRCTC-operated Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is scheduled to depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on November 17, 2023, at 04:50. It will follow a round itinerary that passes through Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Guntala, Renigua, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kannagiamari, Kochuveli, and back, arriving at CSMT on November 25, 2023, at 16:15.
Thane, Kalyan, Karjat, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Kurduwadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Renigunta (to Rameshwaram, Madurai via Melpakkam to Kudalnagar), Kanyakumari, Kochuveli, and back to CSMT via the aforementioned stations are the stops for boarding and disembarking.
The Ministry of Railways has been running Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains from various locations across the nation in order to promote the Government of India’s noble tourism concepts of Dekho Apna Desh and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and to highlight India as a travel destination both domestically and internationally. The purpose of these theme-based trains is to introduce both domestic and foreign tourists to the rich cultural and religious legacy of Bharat.
With three options—Economy, Comfort, and Deluxe—this IRCTC tourist train will be an all-inclusive trip package that covers train cost, food, lodging, and transportation. IRCTC will work to give visitors a great and safe experience.
