Types of Switzerland Tourist Visa

When planning a trip to Switzerland, one of the first things you need to consider is the type of tourist visa that best suits your travel needs. Switzerland offers different types of visas depending on the purpose and duration of your visit. For short stays up to 90 days, you can apply for a Schengen visa which allows you to travel within the Schengen Area including Switzerland. This visa is ideal for tourists looking to explore multiple European countries during their trip. If you plan on staying in Switzerland for more than 90 days or intend to work or study while there, you will need a national visa specific to your purpose of visit. These visas require additional documentation and may have specific requirements based on your circumstances. It's important to carefully review the different types of tourist visas available and choose the one that aligns with your travel plans before applying for your Swiss adventure!
