If higher officials give the go-ahead, the service will also be run on Saturday and Sunday.

Since the Southern Railway has suggested a semi-high-speed train between Bengaluru and Ernakulam on weekends, Bengaluru is probably going to get another Vande Bharat Express. According to reports, this is an extension of the weekend services between Bengaluru and Chennai, as well as Chennai and Bengaluru, to handle the traffic during the impending Deepavali.

Reports state that on Fridays, the train will depart Bengaluru at 4 am and arrive in Ernakulam. By 1:30 pm, the train will arrive at Ernakulam Junction, and it will depart by 2:00 pm. Bengaluru will be reached by rail that same day by 10 p.m. 

There are also plans to build another Vande Bharat Express between Mangaluru and Goa in Karnataka. It is probable that by the end of this year, this train will be running.

A Vande Bharat Express train for coastal Karnataka has been promised by the railway minister, according to a statement made previously by BJP leader and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. “I was given a guarantee regarding the Goa-Mangaluru Vande Bharat Express at the railway minister’s meeting in New Delhi,” he stated. Additionally, I asked the minister to resist Kerala’s desire that the Bengaluru-Kannur train be extended all the way to Kochi. He accepted the suggestion with a pleasant response.

Additionally, he stated that the plan to operate an evening train from Mangaluru to Subrahmanya Road and an early morning train from Subrahmanya Road station to Mangaluru has been approved.

There are currently Vande Bharat trains in Bengaluru that connect Hyderabad, Hubbali-Dharwad, Mysuru, and Chennai.
